Sierra Community Access Television (Comcast Channel 2) provides a forum for local residents to engage with the educational, cultural, environmental, and governmental life of El Dorado County. SCATV2 is powered entirely by community volunteers working from home. We welcome individuals of all skill levels. Flexible Roles: Videography, editing, pre‑production, clerical support. Comcast Channel 2 Reach

FCC Form 477 and Broadband Data Collection data indicate 25,000–35,000 households subscribe to Comcast broadband within the Placerville–Pollock Pines–Camino–Shingle Springs–El Dorado Hills corridor. Typical cable adoption ratios suggest 15,000–25,000 households maintain Comcast video service—representing SCATV2’s core Channel 2 audience. Comcast does not publish local subscriber counts.

SCATV2 is an all‑volunteer organization with no employees. The station server is located at Placerville Town Hall, 549 Main Street.
